The County Clerk’s duties include: the recording and administration of official documents of many kinds, the preparation and printing of property tax bills, the registration of voters and conduct of elections, and the registration and titling of motor vehicles. Mrs. Beverly Craft is currently serving as Clay County’s Clerk.

2024 General Election, for those that qualified and requested an Absentee Mail out Ballot
The Ballot Drop-Off Box for the 2024 General Election will be located inside of the Clay County Clerk’s Office, 102 Richmond Road, Manchester KY 40962. Drop-off’s may be done during normal business hours, Monday – Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
